Ultimate (or ultimate flying disc) is a non-contact team sport played with a flying disc (frisbee) between two teams. It is notable for being self-officiated by the players, based on the "Spirit of the Game". The goal is to advance the disc by passing it and catch it in the opponent's end zone.

Score more points than the opponent by catching the disc in the end zone your team is attacking. The disc advances only through passes, never by running with it.

• •You cannot run with the disc: the holder must stop and establish a pivot foot.
• •The disc only advances by passing it from player to player.
• •A point is scored when a teammate catches the disc in the opponent's end zone.
• •The holder has 10 seconds to make a pass (counted aloud by the defender).
• •If a pass is dropped, intercepted or goes out, possession changes (turnover).
• •The sport is non-contact and self-officiated: players resolve fouls themselves.
