Free live score overlay for OBS
Keep score on your phone, drop one URL into an OBS Browser source, and your stream shows the live score on a fully transparent background. No plugin, no download, no account needed to watch.
Three steps
- 1
Create your ScoreZen match and start scoring
Pick your sport, name the two teams, start the match. It gets a short access code — that code is what the overlay reads.
- 2
Copy your overlay URL
Replace YOUR-CODE with your match access code:
getscorezen.com/overlay/YOUR-CODE - 3
In OBS: Sources → + → Browser
Paste the URL, set width 1920 and height 1080, then OK. The page background is transparent, so the score sits straight on top of your camera or game capture.
Overlay settings (URL parameters)
Append them to the URL, for example:
getscorezen.com/overlay/YOUR-CODE?pos=tr&scale=1.5
| Parameter | Values | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| pos | bl · br · tl · tr | Corner of the canvas. Default: bl (bottom left). |
| scale | 0.75 · 1 · 1.5 | Size of the score bar. Default: 1. |
| theme | dark · light | Colour of the bar. Default: dark. |
Nothing else is drawn: outside the score bar the page is fully transparent, so OBS composites it over whatever is underneath.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Spectators and the overlay are free — nobody needs an account to watch a score. You get one free match to try scoring; after that, unlimited scoring is a one-time €1.99 purchase, for life, no subscription.
Does it work with Streamlabs or vMix?
Yes. Any software with a browser source works the same way — Streamlabs, vMix, XSplit, Restream. Add a browser source, paste the same URL, keep 1920 × 1080.
