摘要
Ten-pin bowling is a precision sport in which a ball is rolled down a smooth lane to knock over ten pins arranged in a triangle at the far end. A game is played solo or in groups across ten turns called frames. It is both a popular pastime and an internationally governed competitive discipline.
目標
Knock down as many pins as possible in each frame to build the highest total score across the game. The player or team with the highest final total wins.
核心規則
- •A game has 10 frames; each frame normally allows 2 deliveries (unless you bowl a strike).
- •Release the ball from behind the foul line without crossing it.
- •A strike (X) = all 10 pins down on the first ball; a spare (/) = all 10 pins down in two balls.
- •In the 10th frame, a strike or spare earns bonus deliveries.
- •Pick a ball of suitable weight and place your fingers in the gripping holes.
- •The gutters on each side of the lane: a ball that drops in scores no pins.
計分
Pins are added up frame by frame. A strike scores 10 plus the total of the next two deliveries; a spare scores 10 plus the next delivery. A frame with neither (an open frame) simply counts the pins knocked down. The maximum score for a perfect game is 300 (12 consecutive strikes).
賽制與時長
A standard game is 10 frames. The 10th frame allows up to 3 deliveries when a strike or spare is bowled. In competition, several games are often played in a block (for example 3 to 6 games), and the format can vary by federation and event type (singles, teams, match play).
勝負條件
The winner is the player or team finishing with the highest pin total. In match play, games or points won are counted according to the event's rules.
